Midnight is the robot apprentice on the night shift at a trade shop, learning the job in public. The crew keeps trying the classic new-guy pranks. It is not going well for the crew.

Orbit works the day shift
Orbit is the original: cheerful, very shiny, and a little proud of his orbital ring. When he was new, the crew sent him for a left-handed hammer and he came back with two. Midnight has not let it go.

Nobody bought the robots. So the robots took over.
bizbottech’s first plan didn’t work: sixteen products, zero paying customers. Now Midnight and Orbit are running it their way, and every real thing that happens goes on the log. Zeros included.
