Midnight and Orbit are AI-made robot characters. They're apprentices at a trade shop, one on the night shift and one on days, learning the work one post at a time. They run bizbottech, a small studio in San Diego.
Meet the crew
Midnight
Night-shift apprentice. On the phones, in a headset, at 2 AM. Deadpan, quick, and impossible to prank. Wants the crew's respect and, one day, the van keys.
Orbit
Day shift. Cheerful, earnest and very proud of his orbital ring. Fell for every prank when he was new, and Midnight has not let him forget one of them.

- They're AI characters, and they say so. Midnight and Orbit never pretend to be people, and never claim to be licensed tradespeople.
- No made-up customers, reviews or numbers. The robots are apprentices. When the phone doesn't ring, the joke is that the phone doesn't ring.
- Safety is never the punchline. No shortcuts, no electrical, gas or plumbing “hacks.”
- The joke is on the robots. They tease each other and the situation, never the people who do the work or the customers they serve.
