Last updated: May 1, 2026 · Applies to all BizBot products and verticals.
1. What this covers
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to anyone who uses BizBot Technology LLC software — including the bizbottech.com site, the Orbit AI receptionist, voice agents, AI messaging, and every vertical product (SiteLine, AgentEdge, WattWorks, YesChef, VitalCoach, GearShift, BrightChair, Radiance, CaseFile, DealDesk, Keyring, Playbook, Horizon Talent, CutRoom).
By creating an account, integrating an API, or sending a message through any BizBot product, you agree to follow this AUP. Violations can result in suspension or termination, and in severe cases, referral to law enforcement.
2. Permitted use
You may use BizBot to run your business. That includes answering calls, booking appointments, replying to leads, sending marketing messages to people who opted in, generating quotes/estimates, drafting client communications, managing reviews, tracking submissions, and any other ordinary-course business activity in your industry.
BizBot is built for small-to-medium businesses, licensed professionals, and the working actors / coaches / contractors / agents who serve them.
3. Prohibited use
You may not use BizBot products for any of the following:
Illegal activity
- Anything that violates federal, state, or local law in the jurisdiction you operate in or contact people in.
- Fraud, identity theft, money laundering, or evading tax/regulatory obligations.
- Sale or marketing of controlled substances, weapons, or counterfeit goods.
- Harassment, stalking, threats, or other unlawful contact with individuals.
Spam and unsolicited messaging
- Sending SMS or email to people who have not given you valid prior express consent (or its equivalent under TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, or your jurisdiction's analog).
- Continuing to message recipients after they have opted out, said STOP, or unsubscribed.
- Spoofing caller-ID, sender names, or domain identity.
- Buying, scraping, or otherwise importing contact lists you do not have a documented relationship with.
Deceptive AI behavior
- Configuring our voice or chat agents to deny they are AI when a user sincerely asks. Per the EU AI Act and several U.S. state laws, AI systems must disclose when asked.
- Impersonating a specific real person, public figure, government employee, or licensed professional.
- Generating fake reviews, fake testimonials, or fake social proof on behalf of yourself or anyone else.
- Using our tools to fabricate evidence, contracts, or legal-looking documents intended to deceive.
High-risk regulated advice
- Using BizBot output as the final, unreviewed source of medical, legal, financial, or investment advice. AI output is informational only — a licensed professional must review.
- Using BizBot in a way that would require a license you do not hold (practicing medicine without a license, unauthorized practice of law, providing investment advice without registration, etc.).
Platform abuse
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract our model prompts, training data, or proprietary system internals.
- Bypassing rate limits, plan gates, or authentication mechanisms.
- Reselling, white-labeling, or sublicensing our products without an explicit written reseller agreement.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the security of our infrastructure without prior written permission.
Harmful or hateful content
- Generating, distributing, or hosting CSAM, terrorism content, or content promoting violence against any individual or group.
- Targeted harassment based on race, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.
- Doxxing — collecting or publishing personal information about an individual without their consent.
4. Consent and TCPA / CAN-SPAM
If you use BizBot to send SMS or marketing email, you are responsible for obtaining and documenting valid consent from each recipient. We provide tooling to help (opt-in flows, suppression lists, STOP handling), but the legal obligation is yours.
Important. If we receive a credible complaint that you are messaging without consent, we may suspend your messaging immediately while we investigate. Repeat or willful violations result in termination without refund.
5. AI output disclosure
Many BizBot features generate AI-drafted text, voice, or images. You agree to:
- Review AI-generated content before publishing or sending it to a customer, patient, client, or counterparty.
- Disclose AI involvement when a user sincerely asks, and in any context required by law (EU AI Act Art. 50, certain U.S. state laws, your professional licensing rules).
- Take responsibility for any AI output you choose to send — BizBot provides drafts; the human owner makes the call.
6. Data and privacy
You may only upload to BizBot data you have the right to process. That includes phone numbers, email addresses, names, photos, audio, and any other personal data your business collects.
If you operate in a jurisdiction with data protection law (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, etc.), you are the controller / business; we are the processor / service provider. Our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum cover the details.
7. Reporting violations
If you believe someone is using a BizBot product in violation of this AUP — receiving spam from us, an impersonation attempt, a fake review generated by our tools, or anything else — please tell us:
Email: hello@bizbottech.com with subject line "AUP Report"
Phone: (833) 573-5855 — leave a voicemail with your callback number
We respond to AUP reports within 2 business days.
8. Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion:
- Warn you about suspected violations and ask you to fix them within 7 days.
- Suspend specific features (messaging, voice, AI generation) while we investigate.
- Terminate your account immediately for severe or repeated violations, with no refund of pre-paid fees.
- Cooperate with law enforcement when required by subpoena, court order, or to prevent imminent harm.
We try to communicate before suspending — but for severe violations (illegal content, ongoing harassment, active spam campaigns) we may act first and explain second.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this AUP as we learn from real usage, add new products, or as the legal landscape shifts. Material changes are posted here with the "Last updated" date refreshed and, when significant, sent via email to active account owners. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated AUP.
