The honest answer: voice and SMS are expensive to run. Every minute of AI-answered call burns LLM tokens plus Retell minutes plus Twilio carrier fees. We can't include unlimited 24/7 voice answering at $29/mo without burning $40 of cost on every customer who actually uses it.
$96/mo solves that math. It's still less than what most contractors pay for a partial human answering service (typically $200–500/mo for limited hours), and it includes the entire back-office on top — estimates, invoicing, reviews, all the things human services don't do.

What happens when you sign up
- You enter card info on the trial signup. 14-day free trial — no charge until day 15.
- Twilio buys you a dedicated phone number in your area code (we hint from your service area field), configures the voice and SMS webhooks, and links it to your account. Usually takes under 60 seconds.
- You get a welcome email with your number and forwarding instructions for your carrier (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile — we link to the right page).
- Forward your existing business line to your new SiteLine number using your carrier's call-forwarding code. Now every call your phone misses goes to your AI receptionist.
- You configure the AI's persona in your dashboard — services you offer, hourly rate range, hours, anything else the AI should know. Most contractors finish this in 5–10 minutes.
- You're live. Call your new number from a different phone to test — the AI should answer with your business name and start collecting job details.
What it isn't
A few things to keep honest about:
- Not a human. The AI tells callers it's an AI if asked. Most callers don't care once they see it actually solves their problem (book the appointment), but if you need a human to handle calls, you need a human.
- Not a CRM replacement. SiteLine handles inbound leads, estimates, reviews, invoicing, bookings. If you need pipeline forecasting or a sales-cycle CRM, you'd pair SiteLine with HubSpot or similar.
- Not Merchant of Record. SiteLine doesn't process card payments. Your invoices include your own Stripe/Square/PayPal link. You keep your existing processor.
- Not a contract. Cancel from your Account page any time. Pro access continues through the end of your billing period. Twilio number gets released back to the pool.
For existing SiteLine Pro customers
If you're already on $29/mo SiteLine Pro, upgrading to the bundle is a one-click action from your dashboard or pricing page. Your existing data — estimates, leads, reviews, license tracker entries — carries over. You'll get the Twilio number provisioned the moment Stripe processes the upgrade.
If you want to stay on Pro alone, nothing changes for you. The bundle is purely additive — Pro pricing and features are unchanged.
