The Agency Partner program is for professionals with active client books who want a more structured partnership — including a dedicated dashboard, co-branded proposals, priority support, and quarterly reviews. The standard Affiliate program is self-serve and better suited for occasional referrals. All partner tiers earn a flat 35% recurring commission — the tiers differ by tools and support (dedicated dashboard, co-branded proposals, account manager), not by rate.
You don't need 5 clients referred before applying — you just need to have 5 or more active small business clients in your current book. We verify this as part of the application review. Once approved as an Agency Partner, you earn 35% from your very first referral. If you currently have fewer than 5 clients, apply as a Refer Partner and we'll upgrade you automatically as your book grows.
We recommend disclosing your referral relationship to clients — it's good practice and required by FTC guidelines for material connections. The co-branded proposal template includes a standard disclosure line. Most agency partners find clients respond positively: it shows you've vetted the product enough to stake your reputation on it.
Yes — some agencies run both models. They refer smaller clients through the Agency Partner program (no overhead, clean commission) and white-label for larger accounts where they want full brand control. Apply for both and we'll work out the right structure with you.
Commissions are calculated on the 1st of each month for the prior month's active referrals and paid by the 10th via ACH, PayPal, or Venmo. Minimum payout threshold is $50. Your partner dashboard shows real-time commission accruals so you always know what's coming.
If a referred client cancels, their commission stops at the end of their last active month. There are no clawbacks on commissions already earned. The commission structure incentivizes you to refer clients who are a genuine fit — bizbot handles their retention from there.

Strategic Partners are reviewed individually — if you're close but not quite there, we'll let you know and create a roadmap to get you there.
